When Madhuri`s son didn`t recognize her
Madhuri is back in Mumbai. This lady, who was ruling Bollywood at one point of time, got married to Shreeram Nene and shifted her base to the US. There she is spending a happily married life with her hubby and two sons, away from the glam sham.
Last week, Madhuri flew back to India with her children for performing at the Filmfare awards. It was definitely exciting news for all the “Madhuri Dixit” fans as they were to get a chance to see their goddess perform live on stage. The show went well and her performance was brilliant of course (well, you can’t expect anything less than best from Madhuri). She got appreciation from everyone for such a brilliant come back on stage but little did she knew that things were going to take a reverse turn soon.
After her performance Madhuri hurried back home to be with her sons. They didn’t make it to the show as ‘Mummy Nene’ feels they are too young to go for a late night event like this. They stayed back home with her parents instead. Now, Madhuri had her make up and costume on, when she reached home. As soon as she entered her house, to her horror she found that her younger son didn’t recognize her at all. He didn’t even go close to her considering her as some stranger. This was due to the heavy make up she had donned on her face. If that wasn’t enough, her elder son found her made up look so funny that he started laughing. Says ‘Mrs. Nene’ that her kids aren’t really used to seeing her in such an avatar. In fact, it was the first time that they ever saw her wearing such a heavy make up.
Little do the kids know that their mama dearest is not just a homemaker but also a powerhouse of talent who ruled the Hindi film industry for more than a decade with her astonishing acting and graceful dancing skills and that she didn’t always speak English with an American accent.
