How Imran got Kareena to feed stray dogs!
For a scene in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Kareena Kapoor Khan had to feed street dogs.
The actress, who is petrified of strays, had to be goaded into doing the scene by co-star Imran Khan (a dog lover) and director Punit Malhotra.
Ironically, her character is shown to love stray animals in the film, while Imran's character is scared of them.
Punit says, "Though Kareena has a pet, feeding stray dogs was a different situation altogether. The sight of dogs coming running from all directions terrified her so much that she initially refused to feed them biscuits as the scene demanded."
It was only when Imran and Punit (who, incidentally, is not comfortable with animals) enacted the scene that Kareena was convinced. "We then completed the shot successfully," says the director.
