Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have been bestowed with first FICCI-IIFA’s ‘Most Powerful Entertainers of the Decade’ awards.
The two were among the 10 stars who have been felicitated with the ‘Most Powerful Entertainers of the decade’ award at the ongoing annual FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry)-Frames exposition on media and entertainment industry.
The awards came in contrast for Shah Rukh as he gave last year’s IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) awards ceremony a miss. Rumours were rife that he skipped the awards courtesy a cold war with Amitabh, who is the brand ambassador for IIFA.
Joining the stars in the league have been eight other actors Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty.
Hollywood actor and leading social activist Danny Glover and Congressman John Lewis have been given the FICCI-USIBC (US-India Business Council) award.

On Friday, Sony Pictures honcho Martin Bergmann and the the Berlin Film Festival's director Dieter Kosslick commented, "Shah Rukh (Khan was at the festival last year) was the trailer, Aishwarya is the feature."

At the Pink Panther 2 premiere in Berlin, Ash wore a pink Cavalli dress and Jimmy Choo shoes with diamond earrings.

She was introduced at the screening along with the Pink Panther director Harald Zwart and co-stars Martin Sheen and Jean Reno.

Commenting on the length of her role, Ash sighs, "I'm very happy with my role and so is my family. The international critics have liked me too.

Didn't I prove in my first film Iruvar that I'm comfortable in an ensemble cast? The very fact that I get to work with legendary actors like Rajnikanth Sir, Pa (father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan) and Steve Martin is reason enough for me to do the films I've done.

For some reason, kids seem to have taken to Pink Panther in a big way."
